                                                    “RHYTHM AND BEATS”

“Dance is the hidden language of the soul”.

The rhythms of the world are all wrapped up in one single activity- Dance. Be it the soft beats of the heart, the rustle of leaves, the splash and fall of the river as it cascades on a rock.  Rhythm is everywhere and where there is rhythm there is dance too!

It is so much more than just grooving on the dance floor to your favorite tunes.

It’s no secret that people everywhere, of all different walks of life and cultures, love to dance, whether it be to express emotion, to celebrate, or for ritual purposes, the art of dance is not limited to one place: it is everywhere.

“RHYTHM AND BEATS”

An INTERNATIONAL COLLABORATIVE ACTIVITY was held to allow the students of the classes VI to VIII to explore the information about various dance forms, costumes, ornaments, cultures and the traditions of INDIA & KAZAKHSTAN. The sole objective was to make the children dive deep into the culture of the neighboring country, explore and learn to beat their rhythm with their moves.

Doing research about the information regarding history and culture of different dance forms of the partner school, watching the videos of their dances, preparing PPTs and the exchanging of dance performances helped the children achieve the idea.

It was indeed a learning with fun experience for the children.

IGNITED MINDS: NATIONAL LEADERS

“Let us all be proud of our nation. We all have to collectively strive to make our country vibrant, strong and supreme”.

The freedom of a country depends on its citizens. Individuals who selflessly take part in a revolutionary struggle so that their country and countrymen can be free are identified as freedom fighters with respect for their patriotism and the love they had for their motherland. These people provide examples by which other citizens aim to live by.

If we delve into history we see most freedom fighters joined the freedom struggle without prior formal training in war or related fields. National leaders were not people who fought with arms against the tyrants but they were people who joined protests, legal advocates, people who contributed money to the freedom struggle and for other developments.

In order to make students aware about the sacrifices, hardships, pain and sufferings of freedom fighters our school organised an activity of gathering information about National Leaders. So that students can also learn how to fight for their rights and their power. It is only because of those leaders that we prospered into free country from any kind of injustice.

IGNITED MINDS: NATIONAL LEADERS:

There was a collaborative activity which was conducted with the objective of making our children to gather information about National Leaders and their contribution in Nation’s growth. Students of Grade VI, VII, VIII , IX learnt how to fight for injustice.

National leaders are the reasons that we live in free country. We must honour their sacrifices and aim to live together in harmony and peace ensuring social justice.
